DEPT. 6 —YOUTH MARKET (LAMB, STEER, HOG & POULTRY) SHOW & SALE

Sheep & Swine follow 4-H show Tuesday, Steers follow 4-H show Tuesday
Sale; Wednesday September 18, 2024 at 6:30 p.m., Worthley Arena, weigh in time TBA.
1. Entries are due by May 1st, 2024.
2. Open to any town that boarders Franklin County directly.
3. The fair committee reserves the right to inspect animals at any time and if in their opinion an animal is considered not in the proper condition such animal will not be allowed to sell.
4. Reservation - The Fair Committee reserves the right to amend or add to these rules and regulations as in its judgment may be deemed advisable.
5. Unsuitable Animals. The fair committee, after inspection, will eliminate any steers, lambs, hogs or poultry from the competition and sale that do not meet the standard required for a quality show and sale. These animals must exhibit a potential for grade and yield regardless of weight. Any animal eliminated from the auction will be removed from the market section of the barn.
6. Poultry must be gotten as chicks (turkey) not 8 - 10 week of age,
7. Ages: Steers 9 yrs. old to 18; Lamb 6 yrs. old to 18; Hogs 7 yrs. old to 18; Birds 6 yrs. old to 18
